K2A awarded two land allocations in Stockholm

K2A Knaust & Andersson Fastigheter has been awarded two land allocations in Midsommarkransen in southern Stockholm through direct (non-competitive) allocation. The land allocated will accommodate a total of 80 student apartments and 40 rental apartments, totalling approximately 5,000 square metres of GFA.

"This is a very attractive location with excellent proximity to transport and services," says Johan Knaust, CEO of K2A. "The district has been developed a lot in recent years, and we look forward to the opportunity to be involved in continuing that development in a socially and environmentally sustainable manner".

Both land allocations are located along Tellusborgsvägen, a few minutes' walk from Midsommarkransen metro station. The land in both land allocation areas, which have already been identified as suitable locations for housing, is to be let on a leasehold basis.

The new apartments will be distributed between four apartment buildings, which will be built in wood and have Nordic Ecolabel certification. The aim is for the buildings to be classified as dark green according to the CICERO methodology, which also forms the basis for the classification of the K2A green share framework, corresponding to the highest environmental class.
